Job Opportunity: Senior Front-End Engineer (Contract) – Fintech (Vilnius)

Contract Details:

• Location: Vilnius / Kaunas / Hybrid
• Duration: 12-month rolling contract
• Hourly Rate: Up to 55 EUR

Our fintech client in Vilnius is seeking a Senior Front-End Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. The role will focus on designing and developing a finance solution used for generating the company’s general ledger and financial reports. You will work on a React front-end / C# back-end application built on AWS cloud infrastructure.

The position involves close collaboration with architects and the broader team to build an interface that will help transition from a legacy on-premises system to a new financial platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop the React-based front end of a financial reporting application.
• Collaborate with architects to design AWS-based cloud solutions.
• Provide technical support for the Product Owner and the development team.
• Ensure front-end application testing strategies are in place and effective.

Must-Have Skills:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Expertise in JavaScript frameworks, especially React and TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of front-end technologies such as CSS, HTML, and CSS-in-JS.
• Familiarity with front-end testing strategies and tools.
• Understanding of backend API technologies (e.g., Rest API, GRPC).
• Experience with databases like MS SQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, or similar.
• Experience with AWS cloud services (Azure or Google Cloud experience is a plus).
